Hexabranchus sanguineus juvenile

A rare sighting of the juvenile form of the Hexabranchus sanguineus nudibranch, commonly know as a Spanish Dancer. The juvenile form shows clearly that the commonly associated deep red colour of the adult nudibranch is not seen in the juvenile and is adopted closer to adulthood.
